LAM McGOWAN was commissioned to bring the look and feel of Manhattan to this quiet suburb in Jericho, Long Island. The new open kitchen with all new cabinetry is not only functional as the owners are both avid weekend chefs but also inviting since they also like to entertain friends and family. The same atmosphere continues into the basement where the old brick surround at the fireplace has been replaced with a contemporary palette made up of light color porcelain tile and cherry wood.
